County Prestress’ Hollowcore Plank Accelerates Construction of Podium for Senior Living Facility
County Prestress’ Hollowcore was specified for the podium of a new assisted living community in St. Anthony, Minnesota, because of its efficient installation and ability to maximize usable space in the underground parking garage. With high load capacities, hollowcore requires fewer support columns than other building materials. Its prestressed fabrication can also accelerate construction schedules because it can be installed in any weather. Despite dealing with an early snow and job site delays, the erector and contractor installed 35,000 SF of hollowcore in just 10 days.
